Happy Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Day.
Today, Rick and I will go to the Cenotaph at Chinguacousy Park and then Celebrate at Rick's favorite Legion Branch 609, where he has been a member for years. It will seem strange as Natalie will not be with us. Natalie and Chris will attend the Ceremony at Queen’s Park. We will all remember those who died for us. We will also remember, or think of those we know who served and are serving to preserve our way of life and freedom. Tomorrow we will think of Alan Brown, Rick's Granddad who was on the Black Prince on D-Day, My granddad Walter Towart and Colleen’s dad Milt St. John who all served in WW2. My dad who is still with us served through National Service as many of our Dads did. I will be lucky enough to visit with him in Florida to celebrate American Thanksgiving next week.
Today, we salute the memory of those who sacrificed their health, their strength, even their lives, that we might live in a free county…
Lest we forget.
