? Check eavestroughs and downspouts
? Drain exterior water lines
? Check roof including shingles, flashing and vents
? Check weatherstripping and lubricate
? Check doors
? Check windows and screens
? Check septic system
? Clean furnace filter and HRV*
? Winterize landscaping and remove leaves
? Clean range hood filter
? Clean water heater
? Clean humidifier
? Check and reset GFCI**
? Test smoke alarms and CO detectors

November

? Check attic
? Inspect floor drains to ensure trap is filled with water
? Clean range hood filter
? Clean furnace filter and HRV*
? Check for condensation and humidity
? Check and reset GFCI**
? Test smoke alarms and CO detectors

December

? Check air ducts
? Check snow on roof
? Clean range hood filter
? Clean furnace filter and HRV*
? Clean humidifier
? Check and reset GFCI**
? Test smoke alarms and CO detectors

January

? Clean furnace filter and HRV*
? Check furnace fan belt
? Check exhaust fans
? Clean range hood filter
? Check water heater
? Clean humidifier
? Remove snow and ive from roof overhang/vents
? Check and reset GFCI**
? Test smoke alarms and CO detectors

February

? Clean furnace filter and HRV*
? Clean range hood filter
? Check inside surfaces

Annual Safety Check:

? Door locks
? Window locks
? Potential fire hazards
? Check and reset GFCI**
? Clean humidifier
? Remove snow and ice from overhang and vents
? Smoke alarms and CO detectors
